In order to be fulfilled, a request for a register extract must be made in writing:

As a rule, requests for chronometer results must be made by letter or email or using the request form on the left and must include the following information:
- Name and address of the applicant (for correspondence and billing)
- Email (for correspondence)
- Name of the chronometer manufacturer
- Movement number engraved on the plate
- Year of manufacture, or year of registration, or most likely period.
- Photos
The normal response time is two to three weeks.
In exceptional cases, requests may be made by telephone (+41 22 379 22 00), but will always be confirmed by mail or email (form above).
Research and photocopying fees are charged at CHF 260 for a chronometer that has successfully completed the competition (extract from the register and facsimiles of the register).
Research fees are charged at CHF 70 for a chronometer that does not appear in our archives or for a specific request for information.
The extract from the register will be sent by post after payment of the fees.
